How to Join
CHA offers four types of membership:
Institutional
Institutional members are California hospitals, health systems and
other health care providers.
Institutional membership applications are processed by the Hospital Association of Southern California. For information on becoming an Institutional

Executive and Associate
Membership
Criteria
CHA offers Executive
and Associate
memberships to businesses and organizations. To qualify for
membership, businesses and organizations applying for membership must:
- Serve
and/or support CHA member hospitals and health systems through
services and/or products that enhance the provision of high-quality
patient care and a commitment to communities.
- Provide
services and/or products that are not in direct or indirect competition
with CHA member hospitals and health systems or their affiliated facilities.
- Provide
one written reference from a CHA member hospital or health system
executive.
- Demonstrate
an interest in CHA's vision of "an optimally healthy society."

Membership Fees
Executive
$4,600 (per calendar year), 50 or more employees
$2,300 (per calendar year), fewer than 50 employees
Associate
$550 (per calendar year)
Membership
Benefits
Executive
Executive member benefits are extended to up to 10
employees for organizations with 50 or more staff members, and up to 5
employees for organizations with fewer than 50 staff members. Executive
members receive:
- Listing
on the CHA public website.
- First
opportunity at CHA event sponsorship.
- First
opportunity at advertising placement in the annual Membership
Directory.
- Access
to CHA's members-only website, CHA Interactive.
- Complimentary
copies of the annual Membership Directory and Report on
Legislation.
- CHA
publications, including CHA News, Budget Watch and Special
Reports.
- Legislative,
financial, regulatory and legal memoranda and advisories.
- Member
rates on CHA educational programs.
- Discounts
on CHA manuals and guidebooks.
Associate
Associate member benefits are extended to one employee.
Associate members receive:
- Access
to CHA's members-only website, CHA Interactive.
- Complimentary
copies of the annual Membership Directory and Report on
Legislation.
- CHA
publications, including CHA News, Budget Watch and Special
Reports.
- Legislative,
financial, regulatory and legal memoranda and advisories.

Personal
$375 (per calendar year)
Personal members are employees of CHA hospital and health system members.
Personal members receive:
- Complimentary copies of the annual Membership Directory
and Report on Legislation.
- CHA publications, including CHA News, Budget Watch
and Special Reports.
- Legislative, financial, regulatory and legal memoranda and advisories.
Please note: Executive management and department heads of CHA member hospitals and health systems
already receive:
- Access to CHA's members-only website, CHA Interactive.
- Member rates on educational programs, and manuals and guidebooks.
