Newsletters

CHA publishes several newsletters providing up-to-date information on legislative, regulatory and legal issues of importance to California hospitals and health systems. The following newsletters are available free of charge to CHA members.

CHA News
Published weekly, CHA News provides up-to-date information on key state and federal legislation, health policy and regulatory issues, and pending court cases and other health-related legal issues. CHA News also reports on upcoming events and educational programs, new publications and the California Hospital Association Political Action Committee.

Complimentary copies of CHA News are sent weekly to member hospital and health system CEOs. Upper management of member hospitals and health systems may receive an electronic version of CHA News free of charge by contacting the CHA Communications Department at 916.552.7510 or members@calhealth.org.

One-year subscriptions for hard copies are available at $65 for members and $150 for nonmembers.

Budget Watch/Review
CHA's Budget Watch reports on the annual state budget plan and how the proposals will impact California's health care delivery system. The newsletter also presents CHA's support or oppose positions on proposed initiatives and CHA's recommendations. Budget Review reports on the final adopted state budget and what it will mean to California health care providers.
